Meet Polly!

Polly was found on a night of heavy downpour under a freeway overpass. The heavy rain had lasted for several days by the time Polly was spotted by our rescuer. Polly was soaking wet, cold, and hungry. She was likely abandoned nearby and wandered under the busy freeway exit ramp to seek shelter from the rain.

The rescuer immediately approached Polly with towels and drinking water in hand to help dry her and keep her warm. Polly knew she was receiving help and gave our rescuer immediate affection, leaning closely and wagging her tail.

After a health check at the vet, Polly was found to be a very healthy 6 month old pup with a beautiful tiger stripe patterned coat. She is very friendly to people, even strangers and kids. She has no food aggression and has no problem with excessive barking. She is accustomed to going on walks 3 times a day and is good on a leash.

Polly is now a happy pup that loves playing with humans and other dogs and is friendly to cats. Having forgotten about that dreadful night, Polly now lives with her foster family and spends most of her days staying warm by cuddling up with other dogs or people. She deserves a forever home and to never have to worry about her next meal or ever to be alone and outside in the rain again.
