Meet Colleen!

Colleen is a sweet little girl. She enjoys taking walks in the park. She always likes to play with other dogs and cats and follows people around joining people in all types of activities. She is still very young, innocent, and friendly!

Colleen comes from a waterless gutter. She was found when she was only about 2-month old. She was starving and covered in dirt. We wondered whether she was born in such terrible conditions or if she was abandoned maliciously. When our rescuer found her, she was curled up into a ball trying to keep herself warm while lying in a gutter. The rescuer felt very sorry and heart-broken for her, who would abandon such an adorable puppy? If there came a heavy rain, it is unlikely that she could survive in such poor conditions. The rescuer held her up right away and took her to the animal hospital for all the necessary examinations. Colleen also has received the spaying operation and vaccinations to make sure she is in perfect health.

Colleen almost lost her life because of starvation and hypothermia. She was only a baby and was her temperature was life threatening low. She was hospitalized but is now happy and healthy.

Now in foster care, the foster mom gives her much love and care. She has been doing very well and she is also very smart. She enjoys playing with other dogs and cats. What is most interesting about Colleen’s personality is that she can’t seem to tell the difference between dogs and cats. She loves cuddling with cats, she even tries to eat cat food. Colleen is now ready for her forever home. If you would like to give the little angel a chance, she will reward you by being a great companion.
